Its been forever since i've written on here, but I just want to let those people know I am still alive. Things are good with me. Been writing my new show and working around NYC. Heading back on 3 ships this month and looking forward to seeing my family in Chicago and Milwaukee this Thanksgiving. Im trying to cut back on buying too many sneakers and I am putting all my eggs into the Milwaukee Bucks basket cuz they are kicking ass this season so far. They have won more games than they have lost. Thats good. I dont care about football. I ordered some stickers last night and have new knorch shirts and also new dvds coming out soon. Stand by...

So much has happened since I've last posted a 'real' update and blog instead of just posting videos and links. My new group the Optical Delusions sold out 3 of our 4 shows of our mid-west tour! It was an unbelievable turn out in every city but Milwaukee really kicked butt!! Thank you to over the 500 people that came to the show at Turner Hall. We really wokred hard to make it the best show we knew how to put on. check out www.myspace.com/theopticaldelusions On Feb 16th I was back in New York and a guest on the Late Show With David Letterman!!! I am waiting for someone to send me the video so I can put it into my highlight reel. It was a very last minute thing but thanks to Bongar Biz it was awesome. Big thanks to my roommate Sean Blue who drove me to the studio from Brooklyn in a record time of 28 minutes. Right now I am in Daytona working at Bike Week for Harley Davidson. Today was the first day of the eight day run and I am already a little sunburnt. I am doing 4 shows a day on the Harley Davidson stage and it's a blast. In between these shows I have been cruising with Carnival cruise lines. Carnival has been great. I perform my full hour show one night, then fly back home. Its the best. I am looking forward to going back on a Carnival ship soon. Later in April I will be going out to Reno, NV to work with my comedian buddy David Burleigh. We are playing the Grand Sierra Resort.

my dear friend joyce g. wanted to do something different for her 26th birthday so she chose the burlesque show, le scandal, at the cutting room to help her celebrate being one year older. a group of us headed over and were treated to some very interesting performances including a burlesque dancer, a singer (who wore a weird caged outfit towards the end of the show, who pranced around with her nip hanging out in plain view), a sword swallower, magician, and a really really hot juggler. sigh. i dream about him sometimes. haha! the space was definitely cozy in a good way since everyone in there for the performance had a good view of what was going on. I had some sort of delicious berry mojito to go along with my dinner and performance. all in all, very entertaining! oh! and we saw some guy from project runway outside too!

Im beat. We are all beat. We finished rehearsal today and our directors went home. Ben has a show tonight so I am hanging with Luke until we head to his show. Tomorrow we have an early photoshoot then a read through with making the proper changes to the script. A night out is definitly needed.

Today we moved into a house to live and work in for the rest of the time here. We are spending every second together working on this show. That includes working out together, eating together, brushing our teeth together...but we stop there. We are very lucky to be staying in such a sweet house in Vegas with a built in studio to rehearse our show in. On Sunday our two directors are coming in work with us. Our goals before then is to memorize the entire show. Last night, we were at Luke's apt working into the early hours of the morning rewriting the first scene. Looking good. Its looking real good.

I just performed at the after party for the cast of SNL, it was crazy!!! i saw a lot of really talented people I admire and they were all very friendly. The highlight of the night however wasnt performing, or even meeting the cast of SNL, it was stawking Diane Lane. She's pretty...o and the party started at 3am...Im now in my bed (alone) 3 hours later. tomorrow I will sleep all day.

One of the perks about living in NYC is that there is always some art thing going. I got really interested in art a few years ago and my interest has only grown these past few weeks. There is a Banksy exhibit I went to last week you can read about here: BANKSYBanksy is very well known for being a graffiti artist so this was a very big change for him as an artist. I also visited another exhibit that I cant find the link for at the moment....but featured art from Polly Morganand my favorite of this exhibit was Jonathon Yeo. You dont need to go to an exhibit to see art though in NYC...this is Poster Boy. PB takes advertisments and creates his own message with them. I've seen some of his work in the subway stations. Its crazy what he does.

I have been officially entered into the running for a USO tour taking place overseas. I will hear in 2 weeks if I get excepted. I would love to go perform for the troops. Today was the last day of Phili Fest. Had a blast in Phili and looking forward to coming back. I won 5 club endurance. (how does that feel?!) Had an amazing Phili cheesecake today.
